The Wesley Foundation/YWAM

In addition to working hard in my major I also stay busy volunteering with the Wesley Foundation, an on-campus ministry at the University of Georgia, as an ArtSpeak leader and student discipler.

As an ArtSpeak leader I get a chance to lead art projects with our different ministry areas as well develop encouraging art installations for buildings on and around campus.

I am in a small group with 3 other girls that meets bi-weekly and get discipled by a Wesley intern every other week.  I also disciple a sophomore named Abbey once a week and I absolutely love getting to share my life with her and hear about where she is at on her walk with the Lord.  I have grown a lot both personally and spiritually through these accountability groups and am very thankful for the strong support which they offer.

God has really blessed my time at UGA and has given me the opportunity to meet and work alongside some amazing students and organizations.  Wesley is like my second home at school – if you are interested in learning more about their mission you can check them out here: http://www.ugawesley.org/

In addition to going and working with The Wesley Foundation our mission team will be hosted by YWAM Cambodia.  We are very excited to be working alongside this wonderful organization.  YWAM’s purpose is to “know God and to make Him known.”

Here you can check out some of the awesome things that the people at Youth With a Mission are doing all over the world!
